This account was created by myself and my friend Lauren Cagnetta as a way to make light of Lempicka’s premature closing on Broadway. We stay up to date on trending meme formats and relevant pop culture to keep people engaged.
Tammy Awards
Throughout the evening of the 2024 Tony Awards ceremony, we hosted our own awards show, The Tammy Awards (like Tamara de Lempicka). Cast member and creative team were given a special award that related to their part in the show or something about specific about them.
These posts garnered lots of fan interaction as well as interaction from cast and creative, through comments, likes, and reshares.
Lauren and I collaborated on the names of the awards and captions. I created the graphics.
Multiple Awards for Eden Espinosa and Amber Iman as the two leadings ladies of the show as well as achieving real Tony nominations for their performances in Lempicka.
Character Days
Every Saturday for 9 weeks we would highlight a different character from Lempicka with help from our followers. We asked for their favorite lines/moments from that character and would post clips from the show. We also had followers submit memes about these characters that we would post throughout the day.
